I’ll keep the communication with the team and make sure everything is delivered in time and at the right quality, just as we planned. My role is to make everything work clockwise.
Step 4: feedback

You send me your feedback and I make sure to clarify everything for our team of creators. We deliver your project and make sure everyone is happy.

Why should I work with a video consultant?

It makes your work simpler: you don’t have to learn all the technicalities. You just need to give me the feedback and I will translate it into a language that tech people relate to. This means that you’ll communicate with only one person instead of an entire team, and only the essential information and issues will be communicated to you (say goodbye to production headaches).

Also, figuring out who to work with is kind of hard. I’ve worked with many teams and I know their strengths and their weaknesses. I can sort out what kind of team you need for your project and build a brief that everybody can follow. I will be with you all the way: brief, contract, deliverables, project management, directing, delivering, feedback and then lessons learned.

Give us an example of a commercial project you would like to work on.

Let’s assume you have an event coming on. You need a live stream coverage, an after movie and Social Media content based on your conference. Is seems simple, but I already have in my mind 4 teams that need to work together. It's just like an orchestra: you need someone to direct everyone. That’s my role: to connect the teams in a way that we get the desired results. This is an example of project I would like to be involved with, I’ve already done it :)

Who’s your favorite film maker?

This is a tough one. I really appreciate the New Wave Directors from Romania and I studied their films a lot. The authenticity and the depth of their cinematography makes me explore this in my films and projects. .

I identify with the interest in psychology of Michel Gondry, the aesthetic of Terrence Malick and the preoccupation of Terry Gilliam.

I am able to control chaos with creative and effective solutions. I have the know-how to make demands on the production technical team of a project without the client having to deal with details that are specific to another department.

The unexpected always comes up on set, so let me take the stress and responsibility of coordinating and communicating with the technical people on the video team.

Do you write scripts?

It depends on the project. If I feel that I know the subject and I can help with a good script, then I will do it, but for the others there are so many talented writers that we can team up.
